Laser therapy is a non-invasive therapeutic tool that can treat chronic or acute pain conditions; thus improving the pain management and well-being of your pets.
Laser therapy uses infrared light to penetrate the tissue and act on the cells to improve the regeneration process. This creates an optimal healing environment, which reduces inflammation, swelling, muscle contractures, pain and optimizes healing. And, as a result, improves your companion’s daily life.
This new painless, drug-free and non-invasive treatment technique has been proven in human and veterinary medicine.
If numerous scientific publications proving its therapeutic effects in humans have existed for many years, recent work on our animals has confirmed the interest of such therapy in veterinary medicine and more particularly in physiotherapy.
Technological advances now allow us to have new generation lasers, much more powerful and efficient than their ancestors, thus opening up great prospects for care in many fields (management of osteoarthritis, inflammatory or chronic pain processes, use in neurology, dermatology…).
Treatments take 3 to 6 minutes per site and do not require anesthesia.
Your pet will be very comfortable as the K-laser Vet produces a soothing warmth on the body.
For chronic conditions such as osteoarthritis, it takes 5 to 6 treatments to get a very comfortable improvement in your pet. Booster treatments are then required monthly to keep the pain down and improve mobility.
